Privacy Policy

How Riverrmain Cleaning Solutions collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or our services, what we do with it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Riverrmain Cleaning Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”). We provide home, deep, end of tenancy, Airbnb, office and commercial cleaning services in the United Kingdom.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the “controller” of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at Riverrmainscleaners@gmail.com or on +44 7887 306526.

2. Information we collect

We only collect the information we need. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:

  • Enquiries and quotes: your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your property type or location, and anything you tell us in your message.
  • Career applications: your name, contact details, the role you are interested in, your area, your right-to-work status, your experience and any CV or other details you send us.
  • Customers: your address, access arrangements, cleaning preferences and payment details needed to provide and manage our services.
  • Messages and calls: the content of emails, WhatsApp messages and phone calls you send or make to us.
  • Technical information: basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, which is recorded by our website hosting provider.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide you with a quote.
  • To arrange, carry out and manage the cleaning services you request, including scheduling, invoicing and customer care.
  • To consider your application for a role and to contact you about it.
  • To keep our website secure and working properly.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including insurance, accounting and tax requirements.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Our lawful bases

Under UK GDPR we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Contract: where we need to use your information to provide a quote or deliver a service you have asked for.
  • Legitimate interests: to run and improve our business, respond to enquiries and keep our website secure, where this is not outweighed by your rights.
  • Legal obligation: where we must keep or share information by law.
  • Consent: where you choose to give us information, for example by emailing us your CV. You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Who we share it with

We only share your information where necessary, and only with:

  • our cleaning team members, so they can carry out your booking;
  • service providers who help us run the business, such as email, messaging, accounting, payment and website hosting providers;
  • our insurers and professional advisers, where needed; and
  • public authorities or regulators where we are legally required to.

Where a provider is based outside the UK, we take steps to make sure your information is protected in line with UK law.

6. Our website, forms and cookies

The enquiry and application forms on this website open your own email app with your details filled in, so the message is sent from your email account. We do not store form entries on the website itself.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. To load fonts and scripts, pages may request files from third-party services (Fontshare and jsDelivr), which may receive technical information such as your IP address. Our website also links to Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp; these services have their own privacy policies. If we add analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are not kept longer than necessary. Customer records are kept for as long as we provide services to you and for the period we need to keep them for legal, tax and insurance reasons. Unsuccessful job applications are not kept longer than necessary.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • be told how your information is used and ask for a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances;
  • ask us to restrict or stop using your information in certain circumstances;
  • object to us using your information based on legitimate interests;
  • receive your information in a portable format where applicable; and
  • withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on it.

9. Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information, such as bank details, by email or messaging apps.

10. Children

Our website and services are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown above.
